語法一致原則

主語的單複數決定謂語動詞的單複數收藏

01:“the number of+可名復”收藏,表示“...的數量”,作主語時,謂動用單數;

“a number of+可名復”,表示“許多,大量”,作主語時,謂動用複數收藏

eg:The number of students is about 200, but a number of them come from countryside.

學生人數大約是200人,但是他們中許多人來自農村收藏

02:當不定代詞:everything, everybody, everyone, anyone, anybody, anything, someone, somebody, something, no one, nobody, nothing等,作主語時,謂動要用單數收藏

eg:Something goes wrong with my computer.

我的電腦出毛病了收藏

03: more than one+可名單收藏,表“不止一個”,作主語,謂動用單數;

more+可名復+than one,表“不止一個”,作主語,謂動用複數收藏

06 :當each作為主語的同位語時,主語為複數時,謂動用複數,與主語保持一致收藏

07 :當主語由and連線,表示同一人,同一物或同一概念,謂語動詞用單數,此時名詞前面只有一個冠詞收藏

eg:The writer and singer is popular.

08:a series of, a kind of, a piece of, a pair of等,後面加上不可數名詞或成雙成對的名詞,謂語動詞根據series, kind, piece, pair的單複數形式而定收藏

eg:be made in+sp. 在某地製造

This pair of glasses is made in Hangzhou.

意義一致原則

原則形單意復、形復實單的名詞收藏,要根據其意義來決定謂語動詞的單複數

09 :表示時間,金錢,距離,重量等複數名詞作主語時,通常看作一個整體,謂語動詞用單數收藏

eg:Ten miles is a short distance. 十英里是一段短的距離收藏

Six months is too short a time to learn anything.

六個月的時間太短,學不到什麼東西收藏

【too+adj+to... 太...而不能...】

10 :分數, 百分數, all, some, the rest, part of等作主語時,謂動單複數根據其指代的含義來確定收藏

eg:Two thirds of the land is covered with sea. 三分之二的陸地被海洋覆蓋收藏

【cover A with B 用B覆蓋A A be covered with B A被B覆蓋】

The first three chapters in the book is very easy, but the rest are quite difficult.

這本書的前三個章節是很容易的,但剩下的很難收藏

注意:the+first+名詞單數/名詞複數,看作整體,後面謂動用單數收藏

11 :“the+形容詞/分詞”結構收藏,表示一類人

eg:the rich/poor/dead/injured/wounded等,作主語時,謂動用複數收藏

12 :表示某國人的總稱:the Chinese, the British等作主語時,謂動用複數收藏

13 :主語為family, team, group, government等集體名詞

如果看作一個整體用單數;如果側重其中的各個成員,謂語動詞用複數收藏

eg:His family is poor and he had to drop school to work for a living.

My family are going on a trip this summer.

我們全家人今年夏天要外出旅遊收藏

14:以-s結尾的國名、地名或學科名(形復實單的名詞),作主語時,謂動用單數收藏

eg:The United States is composed of fifty states.

美國由五十個州組成收藏

Mathematics is the language of science.數學是科學的語言收藏

15 :單復同行的名詞:sheep, deer, means等作主語時,謂動單複數與前面的修飾語保持一致收藏

eg:Every means has been tried but without much result.

Three sheep are lying there.

三隻羊正躺在那裡收藏

Not every means is useful【adj】有用的.

16:“a quantity of+可名復/不可名”收藏,“許多,大量”作主語時,謂動單複數取決於要根據of後面的名詞;

“quantities of+可名復/不可名”收藏,“許多,大量”作主語時,謂動用複數;

eg:A large quantity of drugs are found at his home.

大量毒品在他家被發現了收藏

A large amount of+不可名,表示“許多、大量”,作主語,謂動用單數收藏

1. 複合不定代詞anyone, anybody, anything, someone, somebody, something, everyone, everybody, everything, no one, nobody, nothing作主語時,謂語動詞用單數形式收藏

2. neither of ... / none of ... 作主語時,謂語動詞用單、複數形式均可收藏

3. either指“兩者之中任何一個”,作主語時,謂語動詞用單數形式收藏。either of ... 作主語時,謂語動詞用單、複數形式均可。

4. each作同位語時,謂語動詞的單、複數形式取決於主語的數;each of ... 作主語時,謂語動詞用單數形式收藏

考點四:當用both ... and ... 連線並列主語時,謂語動詞常用複數形式收藏。當and連線的兩個名詞表示兩個不同的概念時,謂語動詞用複數形式;當表示同一人、同一物或同一個概念,或表示不可分的整體時,謂語動詞仍用單數形式。

考點五:當主語後面跟有with, except, including, along with, together with, as well as, in addition to等詞語引導的短語時,謂語動詞的單、複數形式由主語的單、複數形式決定收藏

形式;如果指集體中的成員,謂語動詞用複數形式,如family, class, team, group, crowd等;當population意為“人口數量”時,謂語動詞用單數形式;意為“全體居民”時,謂語動詞用單、複數形式均可收藏

就近一致是指謂語動詞的數要與其最近的主語在人稱和數上保持一致收藏

考點一:以or, not only ... but also ..., either ... or ..., neither ... nor ... 等連線的名詞(或代詞)作主語時,謂語動詞要和離它最近的主語在人稱和數上保持一致收藏

考點二:在there be 句型中,如果有兩個或兩個以上的主語時,主語與謂語的一致通常遵循就近一致原則收藏

1.主謂一致的概念

主謂一致就是句子的謂語動詞形式在人稱和數上必須和句子的主語保持一致,叫主謂一致收藏。這種關係一般要遵循三個原則:語法上一致的原則;意義上一致的原則和就近一致的原則。

2. 語法一致原則

謂語和主語通常從語法形式上取得一致,主語為單數形式,謂語動詞也用單數形式;主語為複數形式,謂語動詞也為複數形式收藏

(1)下列情況謂語動詞只能用單數收藏

1)不可數名詞或可數名詞單數作主語,謂語動詞用單數形式收藏

(3)下列情況謂語動詞可用單數也可用複數收藏

1)數詞作主語且表“加減乘除”時,謂語動詞通常用單數,但是也可用複數收藏

Two times three is/ are six.

二乘以三等於六收藏

2)“none/neither of+代詞/複數名詞”作主語時,謂語動詞通常用單數,但在口語中也可用複數收藏

Neither of you like/likes playing football.

你們兩個都不喜歡踢足球收藏

3)一些集合名詞,如family,class,group, team等作主語時,表示整體意義時,謂語動詞用單數形式;當它們強調指個體成員時,謂語動詞用複數形式收藏

His family were watching TV when I arrived.

3. 意義一致原則

(1)表示時間、距離、重量、長度和價值的名詞,儘管是複數形式,作為一個整體來看待,謂語動詞通常用單數形式收藏

(2) 不定代詞all, most, some 等作主語時,謂語動詞的單複數取決於它們所指代名詞的數收藏

(3)用and 連線的成對名詞習慣上被看成是一個整體,如:bread and butter(黃油抹面包), knife and fork (刀叉)等作主語時,謂語動詞用單數收藏

(4)不定數量的片語作主語時,謂語動詞的單複數取決於量詞後面名詞的數收藏。如:part of, a lot of, lots of, one of, a number of, plenty of 等。

4. 就近一致原則收藏

(1) 由連詞either… or,neither…nor,not only… but also及or連線的並列主語,謂語動詞通常與離它最近的主語保持一致收藏

Either you or I go swimming with our father.

我或者你可以和爸爸一起去游泳收藏

(2) there be句型中,謂語動詞be往往和後面的第一個主語取得一致收藏

1.語法一致

- 單數主語:單個名詞、代詞、動名詞、不定式或從句作主語時,通常被視作單數概念,謂語動詞相應採用單數形式收藏。例如:“Reading enriches the mind.”(閱讀能豐富思維);“What he has achieved is remarkable.”(他所取得的成就很了不起)。

- 複數主語:複數名詞或代詞作主語時,謂語動詞需使用複數形式收藏。例如:“Books open the door to different worlds.”(書籍開啟通往不同世界的大門)。

- 用and連線的主語:一般而言,由and連線的兩個或多個主語,謂語動詞用複數形式收藏。例如:“Tom and Jerry often engage in funny adventures.”(湯姆和傑瑞經常進行有趣的冒險)。然而,當並列主語指代同一人、同一物或同一概念時,謂語動詞則用單數形式。例如:“A needle and thread is essential for sewing.”(針線是縫紉必備的)。

2.意義一致

- 集體名詞:像family(家庭)、team(團隊)、class(班級)等集體名詞作主語時,若將其視為一個整體,謂語動詞用單數形式;若強調其中的個體成員,謂語動詞則用複數形式收藏。例如:“The committee decides on important matters.”(委員會決定重要事項);“The committee are divided in their opinions.”(委員會成員意見有分歧)。

- 單複數同形名詞:諸如sheep(羊)、deer(鹿)、fish(魚,強調條數時單複數同形)等單複數同形的名詞作主語時,需依據句子語境判斷其表示的是單數還是複數意義,進而確定謂語動詞的形式收藏。例如:“This deer looks healthy.”(這隻鹿看起來很健康);“These deer are grazing in the meadow.”(這些鹿在草地上吃草)。

- 表示數量的短語:“a number of + 複數名詞”結構作主語時,謂語動詞用複數形式,因為“a number of”意為“許多”,強調複數概念;而“the number of + 複數名詞”作主語時,謂語動詞用單數形式,因為“the number of”表示“……的數量”,強調具體數字收藏。例如:“A number of students participate in the competition.”(許多學生參加比賽);“The number of participants is increasing.”(參與者的數量在增加)。

- 不可數名詞:不可數名詞作主語時,謂語動詞通常用單數形式收藏。若不可數名詞前有“a lot of”、“some”、“much”等修飾詞,謂語動詞的形式要根據這些修飾詞後的名詞性質決定。例如:“Water sustains life.”(水維持生命);“Some water in the bottle is contaminated.”(瓶子裡的一些水被汙染了)。

3.就近一致

- 連詞連線的並列主語:當使用“either...or...”(要麼……要麼……)、“neither...nor...”(既不……也不……)、“not only...but also...”(不僅……而且……)等連詞連線兩個並列主語時,謂語動詞的形式要與離它最近的那個主語保持一致收藏。例如:“Either you or I am responsible for this task.”(要麼你,要麼我要負責這項任務)。

- there be句型:在“there be”句型中,be動詞的形式取決於離它最近的主語收藏。例如:“There is a pen and some books on the table.”(桌子上有一支鋼筆和一些書)。

語法一致原則

即主語為單數,謂語用單數,主語為複數,謂語也用複數.以下為注意事項:

1. 單數主語即使後面帶有with , along with, together with, like, but, except, besides, as well as, no less than, rather than, including, in addition to引導的短語, 謂語動詞仍用單數.

如: Air as well as water is matter.

空氣和水都是物質.

No one except two servants was late for the dinner.

除了兩個僕人外, 沒有一個人遲來用餐收藏

2. 用and 連線的並列主語,如果主語是同一個人, 同一事, 同一概念, 謂語動詞用單數, 否則用複數. 如:

The poet and writer has come.

那位詩人兼作家來了.(一個人)

A hammer and a saw are useful tools.

錘子和鋸都是有用的工具. (兩樣物)

用and 連線的成對名詞習慣上被看成是一個整體, 如:bread and butter(黃油抹面包), knife and fork(刀叉)等作主語時, 謂語動詞用單數收藏

3. 不定式(短語), 動名詞(短語), 或從句作主語時, 謂語動詞用單數. 如:

Serving the people is my great happiness.

為人民服務是我最大的幸福.

When we’ll go out for an outing has been decided.

我們什麼時候出去郊遊已決定了收藏

4. 用連線的並列主語被each, every 或no修飾時, 謂語動詞用單數.

Every boy and every girl likes to go swimming.

每個男孩和每個女孩都喜歡去游泳.

No teacher and no student was absent from the meeting.

沒有老師也沒有學生開會缺席.

Each man and woman is asked to help.

每個男人和每個女人都被請去幫忙收藏

5.若主語中有more than one 或many a/an , 儘管從意義上看是複數, 但它的謂語動詞仍用單數收藏。 但 more+複數名詞+than one 做主語時, 謂語動詞仍用複數. 如:

More persons than one come to help us. 不止一個人來幫助我們收藏

6. none 做主語時,謂語動詞可用單數, 也可用複數; 但在代表不可數的東西時總是看作單數, 因而謂語動詞要用單數. 如:

None of us are (is) perfect.

人無完人收藏

None of this worries me.

這事一點不使我著急收藏

8. 名詞如:trousers, scissors, clothes, goods, glasses 等作主語時, 謂語動詞必須用複數. 如:

His clothes are good.

9. 形複意單名詞如:news;

以ics結尾的學科名稱如: physics, mathematics, econmics;

國名如:the United States;

報紙名如: the New Times;

書名如: Arabian Night <天方夜談>;以及The United Nations<聯合國>等作主語時, 謂語動詞用單數收藏

10. “a+名詞+and a half “, “one and a half + 名詞”, “the number of + 名詞”等作主語時, 謂語動詞要用單數. 如:

Only one and a half apples is left on the table.

內容一致原則

1.主語中有all, half, most, the rest等, 以及“分數或百分數+名詞”做主語時,謂語動詞單複數取決於連用的名詞.如:

The rest of the bikes are on sale today.

剩下的腳踏車,今天出售收藏

60%of the apple was eaten by little boy.

這個蘋果的60%都被這個小男孩吃了

Most of the apples were rotten. 大部分的蘋果都是爛的收藏

Most of the apple was eaten by a rat.

這個蘋果的大部分被老鼠吃了收藏

2.不定數量的片語如:part of , a lot of , lots of , one of , a number of , plenty of 等作主語時, 謂語動詞的單複數取決於量詞後面名詞的數.如:

Apart of the textbooks have arrived.

一小部分教科書已運到收藏

Apart of the apple has been eaten up by the pig. 這個蘋果的一部分被豬吃光了收藏

3. 加減乘除用單數. 如:

Fifteen minus five is ten .

15 減去5 等於10收藏

4. 表示時間, 金錢, 距離, 度量等的名詞做主語時, 儘管是複數形式, 它們做為一個單一的概念時, 其謂語動詞用單數.如:

Ten miles is a good distance.

十英里是一個相當的距離收藏

5. (1) 通常作複數的集體名詞. 包括police , people, cattle 等, 這些集體名詞通常用作複數. 如:

The British police have only very limited powers.

(2) 通常作不可數名詞的集體名詞. 包括equipment, furniture, clothing, luggage 等.

(3) 可作單數也可作複數的集體名詞. 包括audience, committee, government, family, enemy, group, party, team, public 等.如:

The committee has/have decided to dismiss him. 委員會決定解僱他收藏

6. the +形容詞/過去分詞形式收藏,表示一類人或事物, 作主語時, 謂語動詞用複數.如:

The injured were saved after the fire.

就近原則

1. 由here, there, where 等引導的倒裝句中, (有時主語不止一個時)謂語動詞與靠近它的主語在數上一致.如:

Here comes the bus

公共汽車來了.

Here is a pen and some pieces of paper for you. 給你一支鋼筆和幾張紙收藏

Where is your wife and children to stay while you are away?

你不在這兒的時候, 你愛人和孩子在哪兒呆呢收藏

2.用連詞or, either....or, neither…nor, not only…,but also 等連線的並列主語, 謂語動詞與靠近它的主語在數上一致收藏。如:

Neither the students nor the teacher knows any thing about it .

學生和老師都不知道這事.

He or you have taken my pen.

他或你拿了我的鋼筆收藏

注意:one of +複數名詞+who/ that/ which 引導的定語從句中, 定語從句的動詞為複數收藏
